BERLIN, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Europe's biggest consumer electronics trade show, the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA), will profit highly from innovative Chinese companies, IFA global brand director Dirk Koslowski said in a recent interview with Xinhua.

China is so far the country with the biggest number of exhibitors and trade visitors at IFA, and Chinese companies are highly innovative, Koslowski said.

Around 680 Chinese companies have registered to take part in IFA 2018, making up more than one third of all IFA exhibitors.

"Many Chinese exhibitors are globally renowned. They are paving the way if it refers to bringing new technologies into the markets, and integrating new smart systems and connectivity solutions for consumers," he continued.

"And especially for this reason, IFA is profiting highly from Chinese exhibitors, because they are showing what could be on the winning streak for the next upcoming months, and of course what might be of importance for Chinese and pan-Asian consumers by their presentation here," Koslowski explained.

He considered it a win-win situation, because European partners are learning pan-Asia consumers' interests, while Chinese exhibitors are learning how to make use of the retails structure here in Europe.

Referring to product quality, Koslowski said that products of Chinese companies are very good and they are getting even better.

"Chinese products are excellent. That is why we consider Chinese products as a good fit for IFA, because IFA shows just the best of the best," he noted.

In addition, the two dominant trends of voice control and artificial intelligence (AI) will have a far-reaching influence on IFA 2018 in the fields of consumer electronics and home appliances, as consumers recognize how these technologies can help them improve their daily lives, according to him.

"Exhibitors at IFA are trying to integrate the voice recognition feature in order to make their products easier and more accessible for consumers and to make them more adaptable and tangible," Koslowski said.

IFA, the world's leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, will open its doors at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds from Friday to Sept. 5, having drawn 1,814 exhibitors worldwide.
